St. Francis is often portrayed as a lover of animals, and while he was, he was even more so a lover of Jesus! The love St. Francis had for all creation was rooted in his love of the Creator. Francis lived out this love with passion. His love of God, his fidelity to Christ, led him to see all of creation in a unified existence and all people as good (and if not yet good, in need of healing to be restored.) He had some intense Kingdom Vision. Do we?
